Crimson Castle: Drafting Format

Questions and answers about the Drafting Format for card games.

Q. What is the Drafting Format?
A. The Drafting Format involves players gaining numerous booster packs of cards. In the distribution set up of the format, players are grouped together and follow a simple procedure:

open one pack of cards

take any one card from the pack

pass the remaining cards to the next player

Players repeat this process until all cards of the pack have been claimed. The group proceeds with the next pack of cards until all provided packs are claimed. In this way each player creates a new deck for playing the game during that event.

Q. How much do the cards cost?
A. There is a nominal fee for participating in the draft. See Friday Night Magic on the Events page for the current fee.
